The three level iconic waterside structure, easily identifiable by its white sails and curved transparent facades houses a mix of restaurants, cafes and a public observation deck. Fishermans Wharf, TheEntrance straddles the waterfront immediately east of the Central Coast Highway crossing at The Entrance. Fisherman’s Wharf visitors will enjoy panoramic views sweeping northerly from the Tasman Sea, across The Entrance waterway to Tuggerah Lake and its native birdlife to the west.
Fisherman’s Wharf just over an hours drive from Sydney or Newcastle, complements the existing attractions found in the tourist zone of The Entrance such as Memorial Park and Plaza family entertainment; the cosmopolitan holiday atmosphere; retail businesses of all
shapes and sizes; weekend markets; Vera’s water garden for the kids; fishing; boating; sun; sea; and sand. Patrons will relax in one of several food and refreshment outlets, enjoying the ambience of the waterside location.
Others may stroll along the new timber Boardwalk, inspect the timber pontoon near the merry-go-round or use the timber stairs to fish on the little beach near the Central Coast Highway Bridge. A public restroom, disabled toilet and a fully equipped parent’s room are also available during business hours on the ground floor. Fisherman’s Wharf public face looks out over the road roundabout near the historic Entrance Hotel; across the children’s entertainment area of laughing clowns, theme rides, and the vintage merry-go-round towards the plaza; and also across the waterfront to North Entrance.

The visitor is offered a choice between several food and refreshment outlets with indoor and outdoor seating which shelter under a sea of umbrellas lining the waterfront Boardwalk promenade. The Entrance spectacular sunsets will be enjoyed and the stainless steel marine sculptures of nationally renowned Central Coast Sculptor, John Woulfe, may be studied.
Fishermans Wharf welcomes the public to The Entrance waterfront and invites them to indulge in the most special of surroundings, dining or just enjoying a coffee at the Wharf.
